Cancellation & Return Policy

We aim to provide a smooth and transparent shopping experience. Since our products are food items, certain restrictions apply to cancellations and returns. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Order Cancellations
- You may cancel your order within 1 hour of placing it.

with:
- Your Order ID
- Reason for cancellation
- Once an order has been processed or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
2. Return Eligibility (Food Products)
As our products are perishable, returns are accepted only in the cases below:
- Damaged, leaked, or unusable products on arrival
- Products received past their expiry date
Mandatory Proof Requirement: clear photos and a complete unboxing video from the time the sealed parcel is shown until the products are fully checked.
Important: You must contact us within 24 hours of delivery to raise a return request. Photo and video evidence is necessary for us to raise a claim with the courier partner. All return requests must meet the conditions listed in this policy to qualify.
3. Ineligible Returns
Returns will not be accepted for the following:
- Personal taste or flavour preference
- Issues reported after 24 hours of delivery
- Parcels opened or products consumed without a proper unboxing video
- Products damaged due to mishandling or improper storage after delivery
- Custom, bulk, or special-order products (unless damaged on arrival with valid proof)
- Opened, tampered, or partially consumed products
GovindJee reserves the right to make the final decision on the eligibility of any return, replacement, or refund request.
4. Refund & Replacement Process
Step 1 – Contact Us
Email care@govindjee.store with:
- Your Order ID
- Details of the issue
- Clear photos and an unboxing video
Step 2 – Review
Our team will verify the evidence and, where required, check with the courier partner.
Step 3 – Resolution
- If approved, a refund or replacement may be provided at GovindJee’s discretion.
- Refunds will be processed to your original payment method.
- Refunds usually reflect within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Refunds may be rejected if:
- The photo or video evidence is unclear, incomplete, edited, or appears manipulated
- The claim is inconsistent with courier tracking records or delivery status
- The conditions in this policy are not followed
5. Return Shipping Costs
- For approved cases, GovindJee will arrange the pickup of the product(s).
- The customer will not be charged any additional fee for the return pickup in eligible cases.
6. Non-Returnable Items
- Custom-made or personalised orders
- Bulk or wholesale orders
- Items specifically marked as “non-returnable”
- Opened, tampered, or partially used products
